Frisse punkpop met wat emo-invloeden, maar vooral veel melodie zonder de scherpe randen uit het oog te verliezen. Vier nummers is precies genoeg, want erg oorspronkelijk klinkt het allemaal niet. Drie jongens die in een ogenschijnlijke saaie Amerikaanse buitenwijk de buitenwereld proberen te bevatten en net als iedereen tegen wil en dank voelen dat ze deel moeten uitmaken van de maatschappij. RIYL: Hotage Calm, Fireworks, Citizen, Turnover
These guys have a great deal of talent, but literally no one has heard of this band. And that’s a shame! They’re currently signed to a little, local label, called 10:39 Records, but hopefully this is only the start of their career.

On February 18, we found out that our good friend Johnny Kordylas passed away in a fatal car accident in nearby Paradise Hills. He was a good guy, and one of the first kids we met in our neighborhood of Sunbow along with his older brother Joseph. He is survived by his father Wade and Joseph.
A show is being held this Saturday to help the family to cover costs. All proceeds will go towards the Kordylas family and costs for the venue. We hope to see you there to celebrate his memory, and even if you didn’t know him, maybe you can come by to hang out or lend support. It should be a great time with different styles of music—everyone is welcome! Thanks

Indeed, we have two shows coming up within these weeks. Bring your best deck because we’re playing at Gamer’s Paradise in Temecula February 25. After the show we’ll challenge yo ass to a duel. Blue Eyes White Dragon, whaaat.
After that, pack your bubble gum and your back patches for POWERPOPVIOLENCE Night (Volume I) going down at The Metaphor in Escondido March 24. Pop punk and powerviolence in the same night..in the same building. We’ll be releasing a (super limited) compilation of songs from all the bands playing this show.
